Elevate Your Learning Experience at the 3rd IFRC 2024 Pre-Conference Workshops!

In conjunction with the Third International Food Research Conference (3rd IFRC 2024) (https://submit.confbay.com/conf/ifrc2024) organised by the Faculty of Food Science and Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), we are offering THREE concurrent Pre-Conference Workshops. Each workshop is only MYR250 for Early Birds (payment before 30th April, 2024), and MYR300 for Normal Rate. To keep you fuelled and focused, we will provide morning tea and lunch. The details of the workshops are as follows:

Date: Tuesday, 6th August 2024
Time: 0800 to 1300
Venue: Faculty of Food Science and Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

As the workshops are concurrent, participants may only attend one workshop. Our workshops promise a diverse range of topics to cater to your interests and professional development needs as follows:

1. High-pressure processing (HPP) and High Pressure Thermal Processing (HPTP): Sustainable and Safe Food Preservations Techniques
Speakers: Dr. Carole Tonello Sampson (Hiperbaric S.A.) & Dr. Kai Knoerzer (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Australia)

2. Application of Sensory Analysis for Functional Food Development
Speaker: Prof. Dr. Nazimah Hamid (School of Science, Faculty of Health and Environmental Science, Auckland University of Technology Auckland, New Zealand)

3. Revenue Management - Maximizing the Output of the Productivity Equation
Speaker: Dr. Boo Huey Chern (YTB Singapore Pte. Ltd.)
