FoodSmart Kids @ School Program at SJK(C) Tai Thung
The FoodSmart Kids @ School program was successfully held at SJK(C) Tai Thung on May 21, 2026, in conjunction with the FSM4706 Institutional Foodservice Management course to provide university students with experiential learning opportunities. Through this interactive program, students gained a deeper understanding of meeting the specific nutritional and service needs of children based on their age, while strengthening practical skills in planning, management, teamwork, and communication within a real-world setting. Deepest appreciation was extended to the school management, teachers, sponsors, and volunteers for supporting this vital platform, which successfully bridges academic learning with industry experience to produce socially responsible future foodservice professionals.
