CHROMATOGRAPHY LABORATORY

Chromatography is a technique that is widely used and important for analysis, separation and purification of components from a complex mixtures. There are few types of chromatography including thin layer chromatography (TLC), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LCMS), gas chromatography (GC), gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GCMS) and supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC). In food science and technology research, chromatography is widely used to separate and concentrate protein, carbohydrate, amino acid, vitamin, secondary metabolic composition in plants and for quality and safety of food purpose.

The Chromatography Laboratory at Faculty of Food Science and Technology is developed with an objective to become a research centre which use chromatography technique as a main medium of analysis. With fully equipped instruments and experience researchers and supporting staffs, Chromatography Laboratory aims to be the centre of excellence in research, development and services which in line with Faculty and University objective.

We provide analysis service using liquid chromatography or gas chromatography instruments based on specific charges as stated below:

 * Charge for two injections for each sample.

** Charge for two injections for each sample including sample preparation.
