SERDANG, 4 August 2021- The Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products (INTROP), UPM through the Graduate Unit held a seminar titled Webinar Tips and Tricks to Write a High Impact, Publishable Research Article for graduate students. The seminar, which aims to help students intensify the writing of high-impact scientific research papers, was attended by 110 participants from inside and outside UPM. In general, this seminar discusses the method of selecting a high-impact journal that is appropriate for the purpose of writing, and also shares Tips and Tricks to speed up the publication of the research writing material. As one of the High-Flyer researcher Dr. Mohammad Jawaid has delivered excellent input and has captured the attention of all the participants. In addition, with more than 15 years of experience in research and writing various scientific materials at the international level, he can deliver confident and informative writing seminars. As a souvenir, all participants were given a participation certificate. Seminars like this are very beneficial for students and INTROP will open this participation to UPM staff in the future. The program organized through the Zoom application, does not become an obstacle to the successful in delivering an effective information in this seminar. After almost 4 hours, many participants felt very satisfied because the speaker was asked with various questions during the question-and-answer session. This seminar is seen as a steppingstone for the implementation of a larger writing program in the future.
