UPM : Faculty of Food Science and Technology

The role of resource Management Division is to support the achievement of the Faculty’s Strategic Plan and Quality Objectives. It’s main function is to provide resources, facilities and infrastructure for teaching, research and professional services. Its secondary function is to assist the faculty’s programmes and activities such as the Award Giving Ceremony, New Product Launching Day, Quality Day, seminars, courses and others.
Main Functions :

1. Human Resource
Planning for posts requirement
Management of staff intake
Management of job promotion
Planning for staff training
Provide training for staff

2. Maintenance of Facilities, Equipment and Infrastructure.
Planning of facilities, equipment and infrastructure
Maintenance of equipment, facilities and infrastructure

3. Finance
Preparation of annual budget
Management of supplies, services and works
Management and control of budget to ensure expenditures according to plan.

4. Management and Preparation of Faculty’s Formal Functions
Arrangement of venues
Preparation of budget
Preparation of required facilities and equipment
