INDUSTRIAL TRAINING

The training will be assessed based on the course learning outcome outlined by the faculty. Student, Visiting Lecturer and Industry Supervisor involved in managing industry training need to understand about the philosophy, the objectives of the training as well as the desired learning outcomes. Undergoing industrial training is mandatory for every student as part of the requirements to be fulfilled in the program of study at the Faculty of Food Science and Technology. 

For Bachelor of Science in Food Technology (BSTM), Bachelor of Science in Food Studies (BSPMK) and Bachelor of Science in Food Service Management (BSPPM) will undergo industrial training in semester eight (8). The duration of industrial training is 24 weeks. While the Bachelor of Science in Food Manufacturing Operations (BSOPM) program will undergo industrial training for a year, starting in semester seven (7).

Students are advised to refer to the study scheme and activity scheduled by Industry Training Coordinator by each department.

The Industrial Training coordinators for Session 2022/2023 are as follows:

BSPMK: Dr. Masni Mat Yusoff
